A massive fire has destroyed large sections of a major market in Mali's capital Bamako. Authorities say, the blaze started on Wednesday night after a gas leakage from a kitchen in the market.
Business owners of the market said, they have lost everything after the devastating market fire.
They describe, rows of shops were burned down, destroying goods and cash worth millions.
Witnesses said, the flames spread rapidly through the crowded market area, creating panic among traders and residents.
The incident comes at a time of growing security concerns in Mali.
