BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that the formation of a government through swift and credible elections could significantly ease the country’s ongoing problems.
He made the remarks while addressing the media following a meeting with leaders of the Nationalist Indigenous Peoples’ Party at the BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan.
Assuring full support to the government for holding a fair election, Mirza Fakhrul warned that there could be attempts to create chaos and derail the electoral process.
Fakhrul also criticized the ruling party, stating that the government's biggest weakness is its lack of experience and its tendency toward arrogance.
The BNP leader reiterated the party’s demand for transparent elections and inclusive governance to restore political stability and public trust.
