Former Abahani coach Mario Lemos has taken over the national team of Bangladesh to great fan-fair.
The successful coach has been appointed with the upcoming 4 nation’s tournament in Sri Lanka in mind. This is according to the National Teams Committee (NTC) chairman and Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) vice-president Kazi Nabil Ahmed. Local coaches Kaiser and Parvez Babu will serve his assistant coaches. The coach has been appointed due to his extensive experience in Dhaka and in turn with Bangladeshi footballers. He is keenly aware of the players’ strengths and weaknesses. Along with his successful record in Dhaka Abahani, Mario Lemos is expected to make a fine showing in the upcoming tournament.
