Health Minister, Sakawat Hossain has said, the measles outbreak was much like a natural disaster, but the government was able to overcome the situation.
He also stated that an investigation will be conducted to identify those responsible behind the crisis, and action will be taken against them after the situation is fully resolved.
The minister made these remarks while speaking at a ceremony at the Secretariat, where the Sinovac Foundation donated 3 lac 80 thousand doses of polio vaccine. He further said that vitamin A capsule distribution will begin by June.
