Another injured student, 13-year-old Zarif, who had been receiving treatment at the ICU of the National Burn Institute with 40% burns, has died in the Milestone tragedy. Meanwhile, another one, identified as Masuma, an office assistant of Milestone, has also been died.
With these, the death toll from the plane crash has now risen to 35. Following the deaths, 38 individuals remain admitted at the burn institute, with four in critical condition and 10 classified as severe cases.
However, due to improved conditions, at least 15 patients are expected to be discharged starting today.
Medical teams from Singapore and China are collaborating with local doctors for the treatment of the injured. Unlike previous days, the National Burn Institute saw less crowd outside on this day.
