The National Citizen Party (NCP) resumed its July March from Chandpur today, following a one-day pause due to the tragic plane crash in Capital’s Milestone School.
At the beginning of the day, NCP’s Northern Region Chief Organizer, Sarjis Alam, strongly emphasized that “the government should not think of anything else until there is systemic reform, visible justice and enforcement of verdicts in Bangladesh.”
The day began with a courtesy meeting at Chandpur Circuit House with families of martyrs, expressing solidarity and paying homage to their sacrifices.
As part of the day's program, the party also organized a mourning rally in remembrance of the victims of the recent plane crash.
Today’s events are part of the broader July March initiative by the NCP, aimed at highlighting the need for transparent governance, judicial accountability, and systemic reforms in Bangladesh.
