NXT air to launch new cargo aircraft service in BD
At a time when the whole world was fighting with the covid pandemic situation that had culminated in creating a diverse set of logistic challenges for global economies, NXT AIR took the initiative to launch as a cargo carrier after receiving its initial No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Civil Aviation Authority Bangladesh (CAAB) on 17th December 2020.
As Bangladesh grows to become an export oriented economic powerhouse, to keep up pace with modern customer consumption patterns, it is essential to have a home-grown dedicated cargo air carrier. With this vision, NXT AIR plans to induct a second ATR 72 and a Boeing 738 and commence international freight flights by 2022.
The Airline would like to compliment to Ministry of Civil Aviation & Tourism, Ministry of Commerce and Civil Aviation Authority Bangladesh (CAAB) for their dedicated support and cooperation despite the lockdown situation during the pandemic period. NXT AIR Limited also extend thanks to it’s Team Capt Khalid Saifullah, Director Flight Operations (DFO); Mr. Adyet Deosa Rai, Director Engineering (DE); and Mr. Anjon Sanyal, CAMO Manager of NXT AIR Limited for their tireless efforts and commitment to achieve the dream.
