Home Affairs Adviser Lt. General Retd. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has said, the National Eidgah is ready for Eid-ul-Azha congreation.
He made this statement after inspecting the National Eidgah this morning.
The Home Adviser said, maximum security measures have been taken in the capital during the long Eid holiday.
He also said that five hundred patrols are working for the safety of the city residents.
Meanwhile, DMP Commissioner Sajjad Ali visited the National Eidgah Maidan.
He said there is no lack of security across the capital.
In response to a question, the Commissioner said there is no fear of any insecurity surrounding the Eid congregation.
