A ship carrying around 34 thousand tons of diesel has arrived at the outer anchorage of Chattogram Port from Malaysia.
The ship, named Shan-Gang-Fa-Xian, reached the port this morning. This is the tenth diesel shipment to Bangladesh since the Middle East conflict began.
Earlier, another ship brought over 27 thousand tons of diesel from Singapore. Officials from Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation say more fuel shipments are on the way.
Two more ships carrying octane are expected to arrive within the next two weeks to keep supply stable.
