Speaking at Osmani International Airport in Sylhet on Thursday, he said, the government has not yet had sufficient time, to fully regulate the market system since they have assumed responsibility a couple of days ago. 

However, he added that there is no immediate risk of further price hike, as there is a sufficient supply of goods in the market. 

The minister also noted that the country’s export growth, has experienced a slight negative impact over the past 4 to 5 months. 

He said, the government will work to boost export growth, in order to address, broader challenges in trade sector.
