Adviser to the Prime Minister and BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has called on party leaders and activists to remain vigilant to ensure that no one gets the opportunity to exploit the Rath Yatra through provocation for political purposes.
Speaking at a briefing at the party's central office in Naya Paltan on Thursday afternoon, Rizvi Ahmed said.
Both the administration and party leaders and activists have been instructed to stay alert so that no agent can carry out any provocative acts. He also said that conspiracies and attempts to undermine the government's image may still be ongoing.
Referring to the School Feeding Programme, Rizvi alleged that there are efforts to sabotage the government's initiative. He added that those who are failing to properly implement the tiffin programme funded by the government are "enemies of humanity."
