Around 14 percent of the unemployed are highly educated. 

Bangladesh has a large young workforce, with nearly two-thirds of the population under the age of 35. 

Experts say failing to provide jobs for this growing workforce could increase economic risks and prevent the country from benefiting from its demographic dividend. 

Researchers say Bangladesh has an opportunity to benefit from its young workforce until around 2040, after which the number of middle-aged people is expected to rise.
