Prime Minister Tarique Rahman joins in the World Economic Forum meeting in Dalian, China, Tuesday.
In the evening, he will also attend a banquet hosted by Chinese Premier Li Qiang.
The Prime Minister arrived in Dalian on Sunday as part of his first official visit to China.
Following the Dalian programme, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will travel to Beijing, where the main agenda of his official visit will begin.
On June 25, he is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Chinese Premier Li Qiang at the Great Hall of the People, during which several Memorandums of Understanding are expected to be signed.
On June 26, he will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping before departing Beijing for Dhaka later that day.
The visit is being viewed as significant as Bangladesh and China enter a new chapter in their diplomatic relations, marking the “Golden 50 Years” of bilateral ties.
