Prime Minister, Tarique Rahman is holding a meeting with leading business figures at PMO in Tejgaon in the capital.
The meeting is focusing on country’s investment climate and ongoing challenges in industrial sector. Discussions may also cover the current state of production and investment, the energy crisis, and broader economic pressures.
A decision could emerge on forming a private-sector advisory council. This body would aim to create a structured platform for dialogue between policymakers and business leaders.
Chaired by the PM, Finance Minister, Commerce Minister, along with prominent entrepreneurs from sectors such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, footwear, automobiles, and consumer goods are present in the meeting.
