On the first day of the New Year, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has launched 'Farmer Card’ distribution program in Tangail.
On Tuesday afternoon, the PM officially handed over Farmer Cards and tree saplings to 15 farmers from the Sadar Upazila at Shahid Maruf Stadium in Tangail.
Through this program, around 22 thousand farmers across the country will receive the card.
The Farmer Card is one of the key elections promises of the BNP.
Earlier, BNP government also started programs such as the Family Card, Sports Card, and canal excavation projects as part of its promises.
