This was stated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina while attending the inauguration ceremony of Dhaka-Ashulia Elevated Expressway project virtually from Ganobhaban.

Addressing those who are spreading propaganda about the reserve money, the Prime Minister said, most of the development works are being done with own funds.

Reserve money is also being spent on infrastructural development including food and energy imports.  The head of government said, those who have a habit of money laundering can never spend the country's money for the benefit of the people. They have made wealth by stealing the country's money.

The prime minister said, due to the Russia-Ukraine war and the consequent sanctions, the prices of everything have gone up globally. Therefore, Sheikh Hasina emphasized on increasing production so that the impact of global recession does not come to Bangladesh.
