The commemorative stamp was unveiled at the Prime Minister's Office in the Secretariat on Sunday morning. Alongside the Tk 10 commemorative stamp, an inaugural envelope and a Tk 5 data card were also released.

The ceremony was attended by Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, along with other officials. 

To commemorate National Rural Development Day on July 6 each year,  Bangladesh Post Office issues special commemorative postage stamps, inaugural envelopes and data cards.
