Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has inaugurated the re-excavation program of “Zia Canal” at Sharsha of Jashore.
On Monday morning, around 10 am, the PM arrived at Jashore Airport.
He was welcomed by State Minister for Power and Energy Anindya Islam Amit, Local Government State Minister Mir Shahe Alam, and other government officials.
After inaugurating the canal re-excavation work, the PM will attend a roadside public meeting.
Later, he will lay the foundation stone for the construction of Jashore Medical College Hospital and visit historic Jashore Institute Public Library.
He will address a public rally at Jashore Central Eidgah ground in the late afternoon.
