Bangladesh Foreign Secretary, Asad Alam Siam has said, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will seek Malaysia’s cooperation for the repatriation of Rohingya refugees during his upcoming visit to the country.
He also said, several memorandums of understanding are expected to be signed during the Premier's China visit.
The foreign Secretary came up with the statements while briefing media at the Secretariat on Saturday morning.
He said, Bangladesh’s relations with China would be further strengthened through meetings with the Chinese President and Prime Minister.
He added that discussions on cooperation in different sectors, including Teesta river management project and other river systems, will also take place during the China visit.
