The premier made the remark while addressing the budget session in the National Parliament on Monday morning.

The Prime Minister said, the current government is working with the goal of moving the nation forward without dwelling on past controversies.

In his address, to the budget session, the Prime Minister and  leader of the House Tareque Rahman also said, the proposed budget has been prepared with the highest priority given to the welfare of the people. 

He added that the budget was formulated after giving maximum consideration to measures aimed at improving public well-being.
