PSL matches relocated to UAE amid regional tensions

The remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be held in the UAE, following rising tensions between Pakistan and India.

Thursday’s scheduled match between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings in Rawalpindi was suspended due to security concerns. 

 

 

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made the decision after urgent consultations with franchise representatives and international players. 

 

 

Notable English players including James Vince, Chris Jordan, Tom Curran, David Willey, and Sam Billings participated in the meeting. 

 

 

With eight matches still to be played, the PCB reaffirmed its commitment to player safety.

 

 

 The Bangladesh Cricket Board is also coordinating with the PCB to ensure the safety of Bangladeshi players Rishad Hossain and Nahid Rana
