A Palestinian footballer has died after being shot during an attack by Israeli settlers in a village in the occupied West Bank.
The victim, Fadi Hamdallah Al-Nasan, was a member of Palestinian national youth football team.
He was shot on July 11 and succumbed to his injuries on Saturday while receiving medical treatment.
His death has reignited concerns over violence by Israeli settlers and security forces against Palestinians in the West Bank. Israel has occupied the territory since 1967.
Although Israeli settlements in the West Bank are widely regarded as illegal under international law, settlement expansion has continued amid ongoing criticism.
