According to Election Commission schedule, the election symbols will be allocated on Wednesday and Election campaigning will begin from January 22. 

Voting will be held on February 12, from 7:30 AM. to 4:30 pm without any break, using ballot papers. 

A total of 2, Thousand 5 hundred and 68 nomination papers were submitted, of which 7 hundred and 23 were cancelled. 

Later, 6 hundred and 45 candidates appealed the decisions, and 4 hundred and 19 regained their nominations. 

However, 6 initially valid candidates lost their nominations during the appeal process.
