Jamaat-e-Islami holds a meeting with the Chief Election Commissioner to regain its registration and symbol.
A six-member delegation led by the party's Assistant Secretary General Hamidur Rahman Azad began the meeting with CEC AMM Nasir Uddin at Election Bhaban.
The Appellate Division of High Court has ordered the Election Commission to restore the party's registration after the High Court's ruling restored the party's registration on Sunday.
The Appellate Division also said that the EC will decide whether the party will get its symbol back.
The Jamaat delegation came to the Election Commission office mainly to discuss these issues.
