Since morning, campaign activities have intensified in different areas.

On Wednesday morning, while campaigning at Hatirjheel, NCP Chief Nahid Islam alleged that his party’s candidates are being harassed across the country. 

He claimed that many parks and playgrounds have been occupied and that open drug trading is taking place. 

Nahid also pointed out that extortion remains a major problem in the area, as elsewhere in the country. 

He promised to address these issues if elected. Nahid is contesting from Dhaka-11 as an NCP candidate, a partner of the Jamaat-e-Islami-led 11-party alliance.
