The government is considering changes to the Primary Scholarship Exam policy. This includes reviewing the amount of scholarship money and the number of students who will receive the benefit.
This information was shared by State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobi Hazzaj after inspecting a Primary Scholarship Exam center in Motijheel, Dhaka in the morning.
He said that new standards may be introduced for both government and private school students under the scholarship policy to further motivate students and parents.
The minister said that parents have some demands, which the government will try to address through discussions in the future. Scholarships were given based on the PEC examination results during suspension of this scholarship exam.
