Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has held a high-level meeting to review the progress of the government’s ambitious tree plantation programme.
The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Secretariat, where the Prime Minister sat with Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Abdul Awal Mintu and other senior officials to assess implementation strategies, regional targets, funding mechanisms, and coordination efforts among government agencies.
The initiative follows the Prime Minister’s pledge to plant 250 million trees if brought to power before the national elections.
