The Election Commission has finalized the demarcation of all 300 parliamentary constituencies ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election, sparking protests in several districts across the country.

Citizens and political activists have taken to the streets, expressing anger and dissatisfaction over what they describe as arbitrary and unjust changes to constituency boundaries. In, residents staged a demonstration by blocking the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway

Protesters opposed the inclusion of these two unions in Brahmanbaria-2 constituency, a shift from their previous placement in Brahmanbaria-3. Meanwhile, in Faridpur, BNP activists in Bhanga Upazila organized protest rallies against the redistricting of Faridpur-4 constituency.

In Pabna, residents blocked Dhaka-Pabna Highway demanding the restoration of the previous boundaries of Pabna-1 constituency.

Despite the nationwide unrest and calls for review, the Election Commission has maintained its position, stating that the redistricting was carried out following demographic data and legal frameworks.
