The information was presented during a media briefing on recommendations for the 2026–27 national budget held at CPD’s Dhanmondi office in Dhaka on Tuesday morning.
CPD informed, if the current trend continues, revenue collection growth will need to reach nearly 60 percent in the second half of the fiscal year, from February to July, to meet targets.
