State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid has said, commercial operation of fuel oil unloading from the deep sea through pipeline will begin this year.
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid stated this to the newsmen on Wednesday.
The State Minister also said, the method would save huge amount of money and time.
Meanwhile, the project director said, the trial run has already been completed.
But due to the lack of purification capacity, the SPM double pipeline project at a cost of about 8,300 crores cannot be fully utilized.
It will take at least five more years to build the new refinery, added the official.
