In Khulna, Joint forces have increased patrols in the city and surrounding districts. 

In northern Lalmonirhat, special security measures are also taken, with joint drills involving army, BGB, RAB, and police at district and upazila levels. 

Border Guard Bangladesh-BGB has been put on high alert to prevent illegal crossings and arms smuggling through border areas.
