At least seven people have been killed and 55 injured in stampede at a temple in India's Goa, this morning.
Police said, the stampede occurred on Friday night during a religious festival at Sreegaon village, which is popular for its events including fire-walking.
Police added that getting the news, the members of local police, rushed to the spot and started rescue operations.
The police were investigating the incident till the report was filing.
Whatever, stampedes, during large Hindu religious gatherings, are routinely reported in India, as huge crowds gather, in tight spaces often ignoring safety protocol.
