During her tenure many types of harassment and torture were carried out against Alem and Ulamas. 

One of the methods was filing false cases.

In his verified Facebook post on Wednesday afternoon, he said, steps are being taken to withdraw the political harassment-case against the leaders of Hefazat-e-Islam.

 He added that directives have been given to Attorney General's Office to take necessary measures in this regard. 

The post also mentioned that the leaders of Hefazat-e-Islam met him a few days ago and they gave him a list of the false cases.
