Sheikh Kabir Hossain, uncle of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has left the country. He left Dhaka on a Singapore Airlines flight on Sunday.
There are various allegations against Sheikh Kabir Hossain, including money laundering and abuse of power.
Sheikh Kabir Hossain has been the continuous president of Bangladesh Insurance Association since 2011.
In addition, he held top positions in various institutions and organizations during Awami League government.
