After 4 consecutive days of Eid-ul-Fitr holiday, import-export activities of goods between India and Bangladesh have started through Chapainawabganj Sonamasjid land port
The activities of the port started from the morning with the entry of trucks carrying Indian goods. Syed Mokaddesh Hossain, deputy commissioner of Sonamasjid land customs station, said, "From 10 am, various Indian trucks carrying onions started entering the port.
He said, "After the holiday, import and export resumed today and the vitality has returned to the port. This time, on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the importers, exporters, traders and the officials and employees of the port are on leave.
