New anti-government protests have started again in Iran, led mainly by students. This is the biggest protest seen since last month’s strong crackdown by authorities
Hundreds of students protested at Sharif University of Technology , in Tehran. Protests also spread to other universities, including Shahid Behesti University and Amir Kabir University.
There were tense situation between protesters and government supporters.
Students also held marches in the city of Mashhad to remember, thousands of people killed during the January mass protests. These events show that student anger against the government is still strong.
