For this purpose, he visited the Election Commission office in the afternoon, where he completed various formalities including photograph capture and fingerprint submission.

Although the names of other members of his family already appear on the voter list with photographs, Tarique Rahman’s name had not been included until now. In order to contest the upcoming parliamentary election as a Member of Parliament, inclusion in the voter list is mandatory. 

NID DG wing stated that all necessary arrangements have been made to enlist Tarique Rahman’s name in the voter list.

Earlier this morning, his wife, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, and daughter, Jaimah Rahman completed their voter registration formalities.
