BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus in London on the morning of June 13.
The date was finalized at the party's standing committee meeting on Monday evening.
The final decision on the meeting was taken at a meeting of BNP standing committee after the interim government expressed interest in the meeting.
Several senior party leaders told DBC News that the interview is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 13 at 10 am local time.
They also said that Tarique Rahman has been invited to meet at the hotel where the chief adviser will be staying.
The government was in a standoff with the BNP over its demand for elections in December this year.
