Trains are running with full of capacity from Wednesday as coronavirus transmission has been brought under control and vaccination activities have been intensified.
Fifty percent of the tickets are available through mobile phone app or online and the rest tickets are being sold at station counters.
According to a notice, the train passengers must strictly maintain COVID-19 health guidelines such as wearing mask and use of sanitizer. However, standing tickets for intercity trains and platform tickets for stations are completely closed.
Meals can be served on intercity trains and bedding can be provided at night in strict compliance with hygiene rules. The train has been running with half-seater passengers since January 15, after all social, political and religious events and gatherings were banned due to the increase in corona infection in the country due to the outbreak of Omicron.
