Meanwhile, a separate bus accident in Jhalokathi left 13 passengers injured.

A watermelon-laden truck heading from Khulna to Dhaka lost control early in the morning in the Ghophghat area of Madhukhali, Faridpur. 

The truck crashed into a roadside tree, killing the helper on the spot.

The driver was severely injured and taken to the Madhukhali Upazila Health Complex, where doctors declared him dead. 

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a bus veered off the Jhalokathi-Pirojpur highway and fell into a ditch, injuring 13 passengers. 

The accident occurred at dawn in the Isanil area of the Sadar upazila when a Sakura Paribahan bus lost control while en route from Dhaka to Pirojpur
