The Tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump on Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have caused panic among business leaders in the two countries .

The business leaders fear that they will not be able to compete with major manufacturing countries.
 

 

They also fear that purchase orders will be transferred to countries with low tariffs and large industrial power.

 

This information has been revealed in a report by US media 'The New York Times. 

 

 

According to the report, Bangladesh exports more than $7 billion worth of ready-made garments to United States every year. 

 

 

More than 4 million people, most of whom are women, work in this sector. 

 

 

Their participation has helped lift a large part of the country's population out of poverty. 

 

 

The decision to impose tariffs will put these businesses in danger.
