US President, Donald Trump and New York City Mayor Johran Mamdani have held a meeting at White House for the second time.
US President Donald Trump and New York City Mayor Johran Mamdani met to discuss the city’s housing crisis and the detention of individuals by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
After the meeting, Mayor Mamdani told social media that his discussion with the President was productive and expressed optimism about expanding housing in New York.
He also raised the case of Columbia University student Elmina Agayev with Trump.
The US Department of Homeland Security later confirmed Elmina’s release.
