US President Donald Trump has cancelled plans for a strike on Iran, claiming progress in talks to end tensions. However, Iran says no final agreement has been reached.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump claimed a preliminary agreement is close to being finalized and said discussions have advanced at the highest levels of Iran’s leadership.
He added that details on the signing time and place will be announced soon.
However, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei rejected the claim, saying no final agreement has been reached with Washington and that talks on ending the war remain incomplete.
