Reuters reported that in a statement issued Tuesday night, the UAE Foreign Ministry said, the decision was prompted by escalating regional tensions. 

The UAE Defense Ministry also said, it had detected two ballistic missiles launched from Iran. 

It added that the UAE remains fully prepared to counter any threat and protect the security of the state.
