UN Resident Representative Gwyn Lewis said, the government and the people of Bangladesh will decide on the election and the reforms and it is not a matter of UN jurisdiction.
She also said, the corridor is a completely a legal matter.
To do this, there has to be a discussion between two sovereign countries. If there is an agreement, the UN will help, but nothing like that has happened yet.
He said this at the DCAB Talk at the Press Club on Wednesday morning.
However, she mentioned, the UN will help the Election Commission and the UN has no position on the elections.
