Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have announced that they will join the United States in military operations against Iran.

Commenting on the situation, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said, the United States is choosing military action because it has failed to find a diplomatic solution. 

At the same time, Tehran condemned what it described as a US attack on an Iranian oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz. 

Meanwhile, Washington hopes to receive Iran’s response to the peace proposal by Friday. 

Separately, the dates for mediation talks between Israel and Lebanon have been finalized for May 14 and 15 in Washington.
