US Department of State in a statement has said, US approves an emergency arms deal with Israel.
The US Department of State has announced approval for a potential $151.8 million arms and military assistance sale to Israel.
In the statement, Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized that due to the ongoing emergency, immediate weapons sales to the Israeli government are necessary.
The proposed sale is described as a critical measure to maintain political stability and economic progress in the Middle East.
Rubio added that it will support US foreign policy, enhance national security, and strengthen the safety of a key strategic regional partner.
