Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam has said that Bangladesh will hold another round of talks with the United States over the upcoming tariff on Bangladeshi products.
The US is set to impose a 35% tariff on Bangladeshi goods starting August 1.
In a Facebook post, Shafiqul Alam mentioned that Bangladesh has already held several discussions with the US.
Another meeting is scheduled for Wednesday.
Trade Adviser Sheikh Bashir-uddin will lead the Bangladesh team.
National Security Adviser Dr Khalilur Rahman will also attend the meeting.
