The death toll from the powerful earthquake that struck Venezuela on June 24 has risen to 6,438.
National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez shared the latest figure on social media platform X.
The death toll has increased by 137 from the previous week.
Authorities say 6,462 people have been rescued alive, while more than 86,000 have received medical treatment.
At least 335 homes have been handed over to affected families, and more than 59,000 buildings have been inspected for safety.
Rescue, medical and rehabilitation efforts are still underway, with fears that the death toll could rise further.
