Jatiya Sangsad (JS) deputy leader and Awami League (AL) presidium member Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury passed away at a city hospital last night at the age of 87.
The first namaz-e-janaza for Awami League presidium member and deputy leader of Jatiya Sangsad Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury has been held in Faridpur's Nagarkanda at 11am on Monday.
Later, fer body was taken to Central Shaheed Minar at 3pm for people from all strata to pay their last respect. Her second janaza will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Masjid after Asr prayer. Later, Sajeda Chowdhury will be buried at Banani graveyard.
The 87-year-old political leader breathed her last on Sunday night at the Combined Military Hospital in the city. She was the lawmaker from Faridpur-2.
